Abstract
HCV is a serious global health problem, as it results in chronic hepatitis that may be complicated in cirrhosis, and HCC. The established SOC for CHC is associated with several adverse effects which limit patients{u2019} compliance and tolerability. Thyroid dysfunction is one the common endocrinopathies associated with SOC.The aim of this work was to study thyroid dysfunction in chronic HCV patients receiving combined SOC therapy. This study was a retrospective study. It included 100 adult CHC patients attending the outpatient clinics at AL-Kahera Al-Fatemya hospital, and were eligible candidates to SOC
