Abstract
Eucalyptus gamophocephala DC, E. globulus labill and E. ficifolia F. muell, they belong to family: Myrtaceae. This thesis aimed to the discovery of therapeutic agents derived from eucalyptus gamophocephala DC, E. globulus labill and E. ficifolia F. muell by carrying out an applied pharmacognostical study including extraction, isolation and identification of the biologically active constituents. We are looking to reach safe and effective therapeutic agents from botanical origin which can be useful in drug industry. Volatile oils of leaves resulted in mean percentage of three replicales (0.15%, 0.05% and 0.02%) respectively. The oils of three eucalyptus species under investigations were analyzed by GC / MS revealed the presence of thirty six compounds in the leaves
