Breast cancer is one of the major problems in Egypt, particularly in younger females. This study aimed to evaluate whether association between polymorphisms of estrogen receptor Ü (ERÜ) as well as IL-10 gene (-1082, -819 and -592) promoter and lipid profile, and levels of Cu, Zn and Fe in breast cancer patients. Fifty eight breast cancer female from The Egyptian National Cancer Institute recruited in our study. Forty normal female as control. The genotype and allelic frequency of ERÜ gene and IL-10 showed high significant difference in patients compared to control group while IL-10 (-819) showed non significant change. Cholesterol levels demonstrated high significant difference in both ERÜ gene and IL-10 in different genotypes, other parameters showed variations in its levels in the different genotypes of ERÜ and IL-10 gene
