المستخلص This thesis presents an investigation and evaluation of the performance of the surface mount permanent magnet synchronous motor drive under a new speed controller which is simplified universal intelligent PI controller (SUI PI). This controller is compared with three different kinds of speed controllers. The estimation of the rotor position in dynamic rate is derived by Luenberger state observer for currents and MRAS (Model Reference Adaptive System) observer. It also shows how to use a Luenberger state observer in a field oriented control (FOC) |
