المستخلص This study aimed to track graduates of hotel technical schools and identify the reality of the required competencies. The labor market for graduates of hotel technical schools and to identify the reality of the obstacles that hinder the matching of graduates of hotel technical schools to the requirements of the labor market. The study used the descriptive approach as the most appropriate approach. In the field study, the questionnaire was used as a tool to identify the reality of the competencies required for the labor market among hotel technical school graduates and the reality of the obstacles that hinder these graduates from matching the requirements of the labor market. It was applied to a sample of graduates. The study sample consisted of 400 graduates from hotel technical schools (Al-Kawthar, Tahta and Al-Balina). To process the data, the statistical package program (SPSS) was used for statistical analysis. The results of the study indicated the achievement of ”the reality of competencies required for the labor market among graduates of advanced hotel technical schools” with an arithmetic average of (2.42), i.e., a high degree of agreement, which indicates that graduates have a lot of competencies that qualify them to enter the labor market, as well as the ”reality of obstacles” that impede the adaptation of graduates of hotel technical schools to the labor market with an arithmetic mean of (2.65) and the degree of approval (large). This is due to the presence of obstacles inside and outside the hotel technical schools that have been achieved in reality to a large extent. Based on the findings of the theoretical and field studies, the researcher presented a proposed vision for bridging the gap between hotel technical school graduates and labor market demands. |
