Abstract The form of liver cancer that receives the greatest attention is hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC, also known as malignant hematoma). Alcoholism is the most prevalent cause of hepatic cirrhosis, while viral hepatitis infection accounts for the majority of HCC patients (hepatitis B or C) The incidence of it is rising globally, growing by 3% to 9% yearly. According to reports, 4.7% of Egyptians with chronic liver disease (CLD) have HCC.Geographic and demographic differences are clearly present in the epidemiology of HCC. |
