Abstract

Eighty female Swiss albino mice obtained. Mice were clinical healthy and were weighing about 20 to 22 g then kept under hygienic condition throughout the experiment.
After two weeks of acclimation, mice divided randomly into equal four groups. The experiment period is (40 days, 28 days before the induction and 12 days post-induction for all four groups, which started by given nicotine (100 μg/kg BW) and C. vulgaris (100 mg/kg) orally using a stomach tube once for 28 days (5 days a week) before tumor induction and then continued with 12 days in all tumor bearing mice.
Isolated of Mouse Peritoneal Cavity Ehrlich Cells donor then contained by using a hemocytometer to receive each female mice 0.2 ml of tumor cell suspension containing 2.5×106 tumor cells intraperitoneally.
Groups of animals divided into Control group received 0.1 mL of 2% saccharin solution, Ch group received the C. vulgaris powder (100 mg/kg) dissolved in distilled water, Nicotine group received (100 μg/mL/kg BW) nicotine in 2% saccharin solution and (Nicotine +Ch) group received both nicotine and C. vulgaris.
