This case-control study was carried out in Tropical Medicine Department, Zagazig University Hospitals, during the period from November 2017 to July 2018.The study comprised 80 cirrhotic patients without OHE who were admitted to Tropical Medicine Department, Zagazig University Hospitals, during this period.
