Abstract Congenital anomalies of the thoracic arteries include disorders of the thoracic aorta, aortic arch, and pulmonary arteries. Contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance angiography is generally accepted for display and analysis of thoracic vessels which requires administration of a gadolinium-based contrast agent. These contrast agents may cause significant toxicity in a subset of patients. 3D non-contrast MRA has been shown to provide qualitative evaluation of the thoracic arteries |
