Abstract

Ministry of agriculture, Giza, Egypt. All plants were planted in a plastic pots sized 14 cm. Each pot was filed by mixture culture medium (sand: peat, 1:2). All cultures were incubated under saranhouse conditions and received the normal agriculture program (irrigation, fertilization, and disease control) during both seasons. The current investigation aimed to improve vegetative and root growth of {u2018}Bartamoda{u2019} date palm plants, which obtained through tissue culture technique. Also, it aimed to shorten the growing period by using different fertilization treatments using commercially products, delfan plus® (catalyst growth contained high concentrate of amino acids) at 0, 6, 9 and 12 cm³/L and Ruter AA® (Root catalyst growth, contains amino acid and chelates major and minor elements) at 0, 6, 9 and 12 cm³/l either singly or combinations between them. The obtained results indicated that, delfan plus and ruter AA were very effective in increasing vegetative growth (plants length, leaves number, leaflets length, leaflets number, leaflets width, fiber zone length, spins zone length and spin length) and enhancing root growth (number and length). Also, it increased leaflet content of N, P, K and Fe and leaflets chlorophyll content (a, b and total). The highest results were achieved by fertilized with interaction between delfan plus and ruter AA at concentration 9cm/L both of them when compared with other interactions and using each compound alone
