Abstract
Multislice CT is an accurate non invasive method for diagnosis of coronary artery disease. The angulation of coronary bifurcation affects the development of atherosclerosis.This study included 200 patients known or suspected to have CAD to investigate the relation between coronary bifurcation angle,dimensions and development of coronary atherosclerosis. Results showed a relation between LAD-LCx bifurcation angle and development of coronary atherosclerosis with a bifurcation angle of 73.5{u25E6} was the cut-off value to the extent of coronary artery disease while no relation was found between bifurcation angle and type of plaques or severity of stenosis
