Abstract Early invasive strategies, in management of acute coronary syndrome has led to improvement of patient outcomes. Patients who are undergoing primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) are at high risk for bleeding events, these events strongly affected subsequent morbidity and mortality. International guidelines encourage weighting bleeding risk before selecting a treatment regimen in patients at high risk of bleeding who undergo PCI. Although the predictors and impact of hemorrhagic events after primary PCI have been investigated, their absolute and relative rates over time remain uncertain. |
