Abstract
Breast augmentation is one of the most common cosmetic plastic surgery procedures performed world wide. Despite the increasing popularity of breast augmentation, some patients experience downward migration of implant in the from of double bubble deformity type B and bottoming out.The aim of this study is to evaluate of the Inframammary fold fixation in augmentation mammoplasty by 3 point sutures fixation to prevent downward displacement of implant and improve aesthetice out come. As a result of possible disadvantages of IMF fixation detected in literature and in our study, we should reserve 3-point suture fixation of IMF for the patients who need repositioning of IMF and high risk for inferior implant malposition. In out study, we came to the conclusion that fixation of IMF limit its position changes after repositioning in the new position but cannot prevent stretch of the lower pole
