Abstract

In this study, we have interpreted potential satellite data (magnetic data) of Mars using different techniques and potential ground data (magnetic and self-potential data) from different countries using different new approaches. The first new approach has been applied to the self-potential data caused by 2-D inclined plate, the accuracy of the method has been demonstrated on theoretical data and real data. The second and third new methods have been applied to magnetic data caused by dipping dike, the two methods have been successfully applied to theoretical and real data. Finally, an efficient approach based on Particle Swarm algorithm has been applied to interpret magnetic data due to simple geometric shapes.
