Abstract This current thesis is divided into three major chapters, which are as follows. The first chapter provides an outline of the water crisis, its causes, and possible treatment methods. It also includes an overview of the chemistry of nanocomposites and their applications. In addition, the chapter contains a review of the literature on the chemistry of synthesized nanocomposites and their applications in water treatment. The second chapter has an experimental section that details the materials, characterization, instruments, steps of nanocomposite fabrication, an experimental technique for determining the point of zero charge (PZc), MB adsorption procedure, and re-usability experiments. Whereas the third chapter is divided into three parts, it contains characterization, results, and discussion. |
