Abstract 1.INTRODUCTION Application of nano fertilizers is a new way to increase nutrient use efficiency in crop production. The nano particles are extremely small size particles of few nanometers’ diameter. They have different properties from the normal size. They have a high specific area and a high surface energy which lead to positive changes in their physicochemical, optical and electric properties as well as a high reactivity. Snap bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) is one of the most important economic members of the Fabaceae crops in Egypt. It is an important source of protein and carbohydrates. It is a short season crop grown for human consumption and export. It produces green pods during a short period of two months. Iron and zinc are very important micronutrients needed for healthy plant growth. They may be applied through the soil in forms of chelated compounds as well as through foliar spray in forms of chelated or mineral sources The present study concerns assessment of foliar application of two important micronutrients , iron (Fe) and zinc (Zn) , in nano-forms on snap beans and consequences on different plant properties. 2.
