This thesis explores cancellation methods of LO leakage at RF output port in radio frequency integrated circuit (RFIC) up-conversion mixers. And a thorough study of LO leakage mechanisms are explored and different classes of LO leakage cancellation techniques are investigated using layout and calibration techniques. Then two innovative LO leakage cancellation techniques in both layout and calibration are presented
