Abstract In this thesis, ten weight percent additions from 2 nm, 626 nm and 6500 nm copper particles and 489 nm copper sulfite dihydrate particles (Chevreul’s salt) were mixed with Aghar crude oil samples and tested for flow behavior and viscosity at different temperatures. Chevreul’s salt successfully reduced Aghar oil viscosity by 23.1% to reach 363 cP at a very low addition level of 0.025%. It was also deduced that reducing the particle size has a positive effect on viscosity reduction up to a certain limit |
