Abstract
The research aims to; explore the expected benefits of market-oriented internet technology and its role. Also, explore the expected benefits of e-government applications in Egypt and its role. The research determines that if the internet technologies could be applied under the current situation of e-government in Egypt. The research Examines the relationship between both market-oriented internet technology and citizen adoption for e-government services. The study investigates the importance of market-oriented e-government and the impact of citizen adoption for governmental e-service. The research explores the e-government current situation, by conducting personal interviews with experts, managers, decision makers, citizens, and developers, to reveal the relation between applied internet technology and citizen acceptances for different e-services. Also, the exploratory research investigates if e-government organizations are market-oriented
