Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which big data environment affects the efficiency and effectiveness of the BSC as a SPMS. Data was collected from 7 Egyptian organizations that have already been proven to adopt big data technology. The study is based on a questionnaire distributed electronically to big data specialists and department managers with BD experience through the LinkedIn application. AMOS Statistical Software version 23 of SPSS was used for the statistical analysis. SEM was used to test hypotheses. The results indicated that big data environment constructs have a significant positive effect on the constructs of both BSC efficiency and effectiveness.
