Abstract The compounds examined during this work were determined in laboratory prepared mixtures, human urine and pharmaceutical product. These compounds include CIP, MTZ, AMX, MOX, GEM, SFV and VPS. The thesis consists of four chapters. Chapter 1 This chapter divided into: A- A general overview of the pharmacological effects of these compounds, as well as their structures, physical properties, and solvent solubility. B- A general overview of green analytical chemistry methodologies. Chapter 2: In this chapter, a new green and environmental friendly HPLC Method for direct determination of CIP, MTZ and AMX in human urine using ethanol as green organic solvent. The separation was done using ethanol and 0.50 % acetic acid in water as mobile phase in gradient mode with a diode-array UV detector, with working wavelengths of 255nm.The retention times and detection limits for each antibiotic were 4.90 min and 0.50 μg/mL for AMX, 6.03 min and 0.14 μg/mL for MTZ, 8.03 min and 3.07μg/mL for CIP respectively. |
