Abstract

SUMMARY
• Enterocutaneous fistulae is a result of a wide variety of conditions and circumstances. Care of these patients can be quite challenging, frustrating, and, ultimately, rewarding.
• Vacuum-assisted wound closure (VAC), NPWT is a dressing system that continuously or intermittently applies negative pressure across the surface of wounds that are acute, chronic, complex, or difficult-to-heal.
• New trends described use of vac in management of enterocutanious fistula successfully.
• Vac system is useful and safe in management of ECF.
• In our study we found that 80% of patients had complet cure.
• Also vac system improve general condition and decrease skin excoriation.
• Vac system is apromising technic in management of ECF.
