Methods: This is a cross sectional study done on 80 neonates and their mothers.Forty neonates were delivered SGA.Forty neonates were delivered AGA .The present study was enrolled from February 2018 to December 2018. At the Obstetric Department of Cairo University Hospital. Neonatal data (APGAR score Anthropometric measurements of the newborn Lipid profile measurement.Mothers data (Personal history including name, age, parity).Physical examinationRoutine investigationsRoutine abdominal ultrasound and fetal Doppler.Lipid profilemeasurement. Results: Results of the present study showed higher level of LDL, HDL, triglycerides and total cholesterol in serum of mothers of (AGA) group than mothers of (SGA) group; with significant higher difference in the level of LDL and total cholesterol
