Abstract School bullying is a global problem confronting the international community that has been existed in public and private schools for years with a negative impact on the psychosocial wellbeing of victims that have limited sociN skills ability.The present study lined to evaluate the impact of antibullying educational program on psychological adjustment mnong preparatory school victims. A purposive sample of 50 students detected from preparatoiy school screening for school bullying victims, aged between 11-15 years old, were rwdomly divided into study md control group. The study conducted in preparatory school at kom Hamada, Al beheira governorate.The effect of the program was measured using two tools psychosocial md academic adjustment (composed of 51 items md program related knowledge using pre and post test that composed of 17 items. Results of the current study revealed that there is a statistical significant difference between study and conool group in relation to psychological, social md academic adjustment and program related knowledge for all items at post test and follow rip test where p+0.05.Thus to conclude that School- based anti-bullying programs that involve social skills learning produce modest positive outcomes in reducing bullying md victimization that in trim euhwce psychological adjustment of victims and recommends that Students should be taught about bullying, harassment, how to defend themselves against, how to recover from past bad experiences |
