Abstract

Green chemistry has proved over the last era how basic scientific approaches may safeguard human health and the environment while also being economically profitable (Horváth & Anastas, 2007). As the area of green chemistry was examined since its appearance as a coherent field of study in the early 1990s with the development of eco-friendly processes, specific tendencies where a lot of research was established, and great progress was accomplished. The production of safer chemicals, ecologically friendly solvents, as well as the development of renewable feedstocks are all aspects where noteworthy progress is being achieved (Anastas & Kirchhoff, 2002).
