Abstract The aim of this study was to examine a proposed program based upon constructivism and using Infographics for developing and writing skills in English Language for secondary stage students in Kuwait.The participants were (60) female students, who were randomly selected and divided into two groups; a control group and an experimental one. To collect data, an instrument of a pre-post reading and writing test was administered. Based on statistical analysis, it was found that the experimental group outperformed the control group in overall reading skills as well as subskills, namely, literal, inferential, and critical comprehension.In addition, the experimental group showed better results in the essay writing section of the post-test and the writing subskills, i.e. grammar, word choice, and organization.The results indicated that constructivist of infographics in EFL classes in Kuwait could be useful for better learning and teaching of reading comprehension and essay writing |
