Abstract
Aim: This study aims to evaluate pink esthetic score, radiographic bony changes following immediate implant placement with immediate temporization with and without sub epithelial connective tissue graft. Methodology : Twenty patients devided into two groups, suffering from non restorable maxillary anterior teeth, received immediate implant placement with immediate temporization with and without subepithelial connective tissue graft . Results: Increase in the pink esthetic score of the study group from 11.40 to 11.90, while control group decrease of pink esthetic score from 12 to 11.The mean of over all horizontal bone loss of the control group was 0.57±0.25 while for the study group was 0.79±0.29 .The mean of overall vertical bone loss of the control group was 0.37±0.22 while for the study group was 0.94±0.33 . The mean of ISQ of control group was 65.50±5.82 immediately and 74.60±4.20 post 6 months while for the study group was 68,00±3.74 immediately and 76.10±3.51 post 6 months. Conclusion: The use of subepithelial connective tissue graft simultanously with immediate implant placement and immediate temporization enhance the quality of overlying keratinized mucosa however it didn’t show any significant difference from the standered immediate implant placement regarding the alveolar bony changes or pink esthetic score
