Abstract

between left main coronary artery and left anterior descending coronary artery measured by invasive coronary angiography for the evaluation of obstructive coronary artery disease.
200 cases who underwent coronary angiography in our hospital were enrolled in the study divided into 2 groups, normal group and lesion group ,angles between LAD-LCX and LAD-LM were taken and statistical analysis was done using Independent t-test in the comparison between two groups with quantitative data and parametric distribution and Mann-Whitney test was used in the comparison between two groups with quantitative data and non-parametric distribution.
The mean angel between LAD –LM was significantly higher in the lesion group with a mean of 60 to a mean angel of 39 in the normal group.
77
The mean angel between LCX-LAD was also significantly higher in the lesion group with a mean of 84 to a mean angel of 68 in the normal group.
As a result of this study,we recommend taking the measurements of both LAD-LM angel and LAD-LCX angel in patients who undergo coronary angiography when possible as cases with wider bifurcation angels may benfit from more close follow up and monitoring in the future, also more strict control of other risk factors as they are more liable to CAD in the future.
