Abstract A total of 150 randomlly fresh chicken ,duck and quail samples including (25liver and 25 breast muscles) from each one were collected from different localities and poultry shops at variable sanitation levels from El-Sharkia Governorates, the identification salmonella spp,enterococcus spp and listeria spp was performed using the cultivation on differential and selective medium. Out of 150 samples, 74 samples represented 49.33% of the total samples were positive for the presence of salmonella , 86 samples represented 57.33% of total samples were positive for the prescence of enterococcus and 78 samples represented 52% of the total samples were positive for listeria. Incidence of Salmonella spp, Enterococcus spp and Listeria spp. • Salmonella was isolated serologically identified and the results revealed that Salmonella serotypes were S. Enteritidis 12 (16.2%), S. Typhimurium 15 (20.3%), S.Molade10 (13.5 %), S. Alfort5 (6.8%), S. kentucky 16 (21.6%), S.Tsevie 3 (4.1%), S.Labadi 2 (2.7%) and S.Shubra 5 (5.4%). • Enterococcus species were isolated E.faecalis 56(65.12%), E.faecium 24 (27.91%) and E. hirae 6 (6.98%). |
