Abstract

Azomethines are condensation products of primary amines and carbonylketone or aldehyde) compounds They were discovered by a German chemist Nobel Prize winner Hugo Schiff in 1864 Azomethine ligands are excellent coordinating ligands Their importance is due to from stable complexes easily with a variety of metal ions During the past three decades.
