Abstract
The present study investigates experimentally the effect of using nano fluids composed of Ferric Oxide (Fe2O3) or/and Red Clay Brick Waste (RCBW) nanoparticles in distillate water as the base fluid on the performance of a single basin single cover solar still.The study is concerned with intermittent operation of the solar still containing a stationary nano fluid which looses its stability by time . This leads to a continous variations in the concentration and homogenity of the nano fluid suspension present in the solar still as time goes on .
