Summary of the study
Introduction
Human nature has instinctively tended to be Interaction with others So that it drive its existence and keep its Continuation and support its balance through continuous processes of interaction with others,
And it’s unbelievable that a person live in total isolation alone with himself, away from people without reaching the in a close range nor a long range, and without interacting with them in any way.
God (Allah) – Glory be to him – has distinguished man from other beings with gift of reason, which though it the man could think and evolve and create whatever his physiological, social and physical state needs, and there are many ways the man can use to express these needs and use it to contact with others.
Also he is the only one capable of diversity in using this Communication with his own kind on their different environments.
The study problem
One of the most important features that has contributed in revealing the current study problem is the obvious concern by the researchers with the cognitive mental aspects that are artificial in focusing on mental intelligence and developing it and focus on subjects and job opportunities and avoiding emotional intelligence and it’s skills despite the importance of emotional intelligence to succeed in life.
Golman refers to (1995) in this regard that the academic intelligence doesn’t actually prepare a person to what happens in life after this of events full of disturbances and fluctuations and the current study problem has came out of many factors had negatively affected on emotional intelligence’s level to youth in general, and to the academic youth in particular, and some of these factors are the speed of successive social and economic shifts which invades the society and leads to a transformation in structuring, ambitions and hopes for academic youth resulting in increased the burden on them and it has contributed in releasing many physiological and emotional problems as unemployment, lack of jobs and spinsterhood and all that raises anxiety and frustration and increases the chances of behavioral deviations among the academic youth, especially they are concerned about what awaits them after graduation, therefore, the guiding program used in this study seeks to develop the emotional intelligence skills of academic youth, perhaps this helps to succeed in life and mature dealing with the problems and obstacles facing him in order to achieve compatibility.
Purpose of the study
The current study aims to introduce a guiding program to develop the emotional intelligence of the university students and to know the impact of this program on the members of this sample.
The study sample.
The study sample was formed from (40) student of the university, between the ages of (20 – 22) from faculty of Education the sample was divided into two groups: experimental and contains 20 student, controller and contains 20 student.
The Study tools.
1- Emotional Intelligence Scale (Prepared by. Ibrahim Zaki Kashkosh, Hiam Ahmed Azzam 2018).
2- Interaction Skills Scale Scale (Prepared by the researcher).
3- Acounseling program (Prepared by the researcher).
4- Intelligence test for adults (Prepared by, Farouk Abdel Fattah Ali Moussa 2010).
5- The socio-economic level of family (Prepared by, abdel el-azeez alsyed alshakhs 2013).
The used Method.
In the present study, the researcher uses the Semi-experimental method to suit the nature, hypotheses and objectives of the study.
The Statistical Method.
1- Analysis of variance
2- Factor analysis
3- Correlation coefficient
4- Alpha – Cronbach
The Study results.
The results of the current study showed, the effectiveness of the guiding program in the development of emotional intelligence for academic students, which indicates improvement of students’ scores in the experimental group in the telemetry and tracking of the total score of the emotional intelligence scale and the measure of interpersonal skills compared to their grades before the application of the program and the grades of students in the student group
