Abstract

The use of pesticides in agriculture has become widespread worldwide because of its great importance in increasing crops. Still, their residues in food, water, and soil have an effect on human health and animals.
Nanomaterials possess some unique catalytic properties, large specific surface area, a large number of active sites, good electrical conductivity, high stability and low cost. Molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) have specific recognition sites that exhibit high selectivity for target molecules.
A sensitive carbendazim (CBZ) voltammetric sensor based on cobalt oxide/electrochemically reduced graphene oxide (CoOx/ERGO) is designed using an imprinted polypyrrole (PPy) film.
A nanocomposite of graphene oxide and graphene quantum dots (GO@GQDs) were used for the first time to probe the ds-DNA-dimethoate (DMT) interaction and detect the DMT at a trace level.
