This study aims to measure the impact of the modern trends of environmental management on achieving competitive excellence in the contemporary business environment of the Egyptian textile companies, and to determine the impact of each of the dimensions of the recent trends of comprehensive environmental quality, cleaner production technology, environmental information systems, green marketing, environmental management systems iso14000 ” to achieve the competitive excellence of the Egyptian textile companies . The study has reached several results, the most important of which are: The existence of some difficulties facing Egyptian textile companies such as high cost of raw materials, high electricity and gas expenses, and scarcity. Trained manpower, and a statistically significant relationship between modern trends of environmental management to achieve competitive excellence for some Egyptian textile companies, and a statistically significant relationship between the overall environmental quality, cleaner production technology, environmental information systems, green marketing, environmental management systems ”iso14000” as independent sub-variables and between competitive excellence as a dependent variable
