The experiments were extended from Nov., 2017 to Feb., 2019, in order to apply the immunoglobulin G (IgG) as early genetic marker to improve some productive traits in Norfa chickens. A total of 85 pullets were used in the present experiment. At 20 weeks of age, the IgG concentration and Ab titers were determined in blood serum of each individual. Pullets were divided into three groups, control, high and low groups, based on the IgG concentrations in blood serum. |
