Abstract Preeclampsia is a multisystem-progressive disorder, and may be life-threating. Lifestyle modification is an appropriate strategy for preeclampsia. This study aimed to examine the effect of lifestyle changes guidelines on improving preeclampsia. A Quasi-experimental design was conducted at Port-Said Maternity Hospital on a purposive sample of 80 women with mild preeclampsia; the study group received lifestyle change guidelines alongside the hospital protocol, while the control group received the hospital protocol. Three tools were used for data collection, Assessment Sheet, Lifestyle Checklist, and Follow-Up Assessment Sheet. Results Showed that lifestyle change guidelines modified the mild preeclampsia and improved the maternal and fetal outcome. Conclusion & Recommendations: Lifestyle change guidelines improve mild preeclampsia and its complications and should be added to the management of mild preeclampsia. |
