Abstract

This chapter is focused on the definition of Rubber and additives, classification and types of elastomers, processing of rubber blend, naming, and classification of accelerators, design, and synthesis of rubber composites, characterization methods of composites, properties of composites and vulcanization process of rubber. This chapter presents also application of rubber blend, classification of curing system, properties of rubber, mechanism of Vulcanization.This chapter presents the experimental part of this thesis. The chemicals, materials, solutions, and their resources are presented. The used instrumentations and techniques are also described. The procedure for preparing SBR/NBR blend compatibilized by BR, dielectric properties of the prepared composites are explained in this chapter.
