Which was submitted to obtain a master’s degree in Arabic language specializing in ancient Arabic literature with the title “The Techniques of Painting in the Poetry of Ibn Malik Al-Hamawi.” The subject of this study revolved around the Diwan of one of the poets of the Mamluk era. This poet is Ibn Malik Al-Hamwi, the owner of the Diwan, who did not have much luck in studying and researching. This study came to show what distinguished Al-Sha’aer from high artistic ability to employ his poetic tools at the lexical, grammatical and rhetorical level as it seemed The originality of the poet and his reverence in the Arabic language. The Diwan included a number of fine poems on various topics, which if we compare them with their counterparts in the prosperous ages, they are not less than me in terms of durability, expression and pictorial ability. The era has given us distinguished poets such as Ibn Malik Al-Hamawi, who deserves to be placed in the ranks of the great poets in the brightest eras of Arabic literature. He brings out these emotional experiences to us as a mellow poetry that has settled on its market to play the readers and facilitate the onlookers. Read the strength and durability of Arabic poetry in the era of the Mamluks, especially since we took into account the situation of alienation that literature in general and poetry in particular suffered in this era because the rulers turned away from poetry and poets, as well as the battle fronts that the Tatars opened for several decades of the life of this state. The Arabic poem remained stuck to the ramifications of the Arabic poem in a state as close as possible to preserving the origins and the commitment of the ancestral methods towards the deluge of Tatar destruction that came to destroy the Muslim state, civilization, religion and language.
