Abstract The study was found that Sargassum vulgar is the most dominant and the highest growth during the autumn season in Hurghada - the Red Sea coast - Egypt, so we studied water and soil physical and chemical properties. The study was interested in studying biochemical compounds and classifying natural compounds. It was also interested in separating natural compounds from Sargassum vulgar extract by means of a GC / MS. The bioactivity of Sargassum extract was tested against species of bacteria isolated from hospitals, including three Gram-positive bacteria: (Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus pumilus, Staphylococcus aureus) Gram-negative bacteria: (Salmonella typhimurium, E. coli, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa) We have also applied nanotechnology by using silver nitrate to increase the efficiency of the extracts against different types of hospital bacteria, as the results showed that its efficiency decreases or semi-stable by increasing concentration, which Emphasizes the economic return from the use of nanotechnology and its applications when using algae extracts as antimicrobial agent against nosocomial bacteria. |
