Abstract In this work the main objectives were to develop and validate a practical, simple, and rapid reverse-phase HPLC-PDA gradient method run on a nucleodur C18 column for the simultaneous determination of 11 selected phenolic antioxidants over 30 minutes including resorcinol(RS), gallic acid(GA) , vanillic acid(VA) ,(±)-catechin(CA), (−)-epicatechin(EC), caffeine hydrate(CF), syringic acid(SY), ferulic acid(FA), luteoline(LU), quercetin(QU), kaempferol(KA) extracted from green apple, pomegranate (Ponica granatum) and argan oil (Argania spinosa) in cosmetic, and dietary food samples. The developed screening procedure has successfully been applied on 67 commercial cosmetic, and dietary food supplements regarding the correct labeling of ingredients beside their maximum allowed concentration. |
