Abstract

The thesis included three chapters. The first chapter included a general introduction on analysed chemical compounds and an introduction on microextraction techniques. The second chapter described the first of the kind salt assisted liquid-liquid microextraction procedure for six sulfonamides and trimethoprim from water samples. The work described quality by design application to optimize HPLC system and microextraction procedure. The third chapter discussed the role of magnetic nanoparticles and polyaniline/self-doped polyaniline nanofibers in microextraction procedures. This chapter also presented an evaluation of a new developed composite of magnetic self-doped polyaniline and its application in extraction of fluoroquinolone antibacterial agents from milk samples.
