المستخلص

The research aimed at suggesting a mathematics curriculum for the preparatory stage in the light of postmodernism to development the mathematical concepts and interest towards mathematics for preparatory stage pupils. In order to achieve this goal the researcher had done a theoretical study that included postmodernism, mathematical concepts and interests then had built the two suggested units of the mathematical curriculum in the light of postmodernism: The first unit ”unleash your imagination” for the first-grade preparatory and the second unit ”Know your environment ” for the second-grade preparatory, then items for personal interview form to measure the interest towards mathematics as well as two tests for mathematical concepts, one of them for the first-grade preparatory and the other one for the second-grade preparatory. The research tools were applied to two groups of the first-grade and the second-grade preparatory pupils before and after experiment the suggested units.
The research reached many findings, the most important of which are:
● The suggested curriculum has high effectiveness on the development of mathematical concepts and the interest towards mathematics for the first-grade preparatory.
● The suggested curriculum has high effectiveness on the development of mathematical concepts and interest towards mathematics for the second-grade preparatory.
The research suggests many studies in postmodernism curricula to be carried out at different educational stages based on integration of different fields, life applications, projects and multiple intelligences.
