Abstract There are some compounds that have an aldehyde group (forming Schiff base) or phenyl group and have the ability to effect on the activity of some enzymes. In our study we designed a new six synthetic compounds that have aldehyde or phenyl groups and evaluate their effects on 2 important enzymes :( tyrosinase and monoamine oxidase). Tyrosinase is monophenol monoxygenase (E.C. 1.14.18.1).It is widely distributed in microorganisms, plants and animals .This enzyme catalyzes the first two steps in mammalian melanogenesis as the rate limiting step enzyme in melanin biosynthetic pathway. Any defects in this enzyme may cause many diseases as hyperpigmentation, vitiligo, cancer and other diseases. |
