Foreign direct investment has become of enormous importance for developing countries, and that importance is increasing day by day, whether through financing economic projects and as a transmitter of modern technology, knowledge and training of labor, in addition to its effective role in developing exports and allowing countries to access global markets, so it is an important tool for economic growth for developing countries and a means Effective for the advancement of their economies, we also find that foreign direct investment ranked first among the components of financing, with the utmost importance of financing through banks or official aid. This study dealt with the relationship of influence and vulnerability between foreign direct investment and local companies in some Southeast Asian countries, in addition to studying the impact of foreign direct investment on local companies in Egypt. Increasing inflows to these countries to stable economic performance as well as high saving rates as well as high rates of human and material capital accumulation, as well as the effective role of the governments of these countries in development, starting from relying on joint projects to receive foreign direct investment as the least dangerous and then applying the economic zones policy to enter Those investments, China and India have achieved great success in attracting foreign direct investment, as China and India rank second and fourth, respectively, for foreign direct investment, according to the UNCTAD report.
