Abstract

Currently, the goal of the treatment of peptic ulcer pain relief is based, heal ulcers and prevent the recurrence of ulcer. Moreover, some of these treatments are expensive may increase susceptibility to fractures and pneumonia and stomach cancer and therefore it is necessary to conduct research to develop new therapeutic agents for the treatment of stomach ulcers., It is known that medicinal plants are important sources of biologically active molecules with the genetic ability of anti-ulcer.
This study was conducted to study the effect of Gum Arabic, moringa Oleifera individually and mixture to evaluate the role of different concentrations on the peptic ulcer. This study was conducted on 68 male healthy albino rats (160 to185) gm.at the beginning of the experiment. Obtained from the animal house at the Agricultural Research Center in Giza (ARC) Doki Giza Egypt. The rats were clinically healthy, randomly selected and placed in lower cages of stainless-steel wire (6 rats / cage) in an air-conditioned room on 12h light / dark cycle at (22 ± 2) ° C. rats were fed the main meal under these conditions for a week before treatment.
Sixty-eight rats were divided into eleven groups (6 / each). six rats as Negative control group fed on basal diet only. The experimental groups were infected with ulcers by preparing the aspirin solution daily and for a week by dissolving the tablet aspirin in 5 ml of distilled water and were given to the rat, about 4 ml of oral aspirin solution on an empty stomach for a week to accuse the stomach ulcers .A sample of 2 rats was taken for the examination of the peptic and make sure that they had ulcers, the remaining number was divided into the positive control group fed on basal diet only and the other group was divided into three groups.
The aqueous extracts of Gum Arabic and Moringa Oleifera were prepared using 10g dried material/100 ml distilled water and boiling for 5 min at 100°C. Then they were filtrated, concentrated at 50 °C under reduced pressure using a Rota vapor. The extracts were kept at -15 °C until it was used in the experiment.
groups I:
divided into 3 groups. each group included 6 rats, fed on basal diet + gum Arabic extract with the following proportions:
 group 1: were fed on basal diet + 500 mg of Gum Arabic extract / kg of body rat.
 group 2: were fed on basal diet +1000 mg of Gum Arabic extract / kg of body rat.
 group 3: were fed on basal diet + 1500 mg of Gum Arabic extract / kg of body rat.
group II:
divided into 3 groups. each group included 6 rats, fed on basal diet + Moringa Oleifera extract with the following proportions:
 group1(G4): were fed on basal diet + 800 mg Moringa Oleifera extract / kg of body rat.
 group 2(G5): were fed on basal diet +1000 mg Moringa Oleifera extract / kg of body rat.
 group 3(G6): were fed on basal diet + 1200 mg Moringa Oleifera extract / kg of body rat.
group III:
divided into 3 groups. Each group included 6 rats, fed on basal diet + Gum Arabic extract and Moringa Oleifera extract as mixture with the following proportions:
 group 1(G7): were fed on basal diet + 250 mg Arabic gum extract +250 mg Moringa oleifera extract / kg of body rat and mixed well together.
 group 2(G8): were fed on basal diet +500 mg Arabic gum extract +500 mg Moringa oleifera extract / kg of body rat and mixed well together.
 group 3(G9): were fed on basal diet + 750 mg Arabic gum extract +750 mg Moringa oleifera extract / kg of body rat and mixed well together.
The experiment lasted for 6 weeks, water and food are served daily: food was calculated once a week. At the end of the experiment, the rats were fasting for 12 hours before slaughtering. Blood samples from each rat were collected separately after anesthesia; the peptic was separated and washed with saline solution. The gastric juice was collected in the test tube, the pH of the stomach juice was determined using the pH meter (hl9021) and the size of the infectious syrup was examined. The peptic was opened along a larger curve and washed with brine and action Histopathological examination of the stomach and a transient procedure blood and get results. At the end of this study the obtained data were treated statistically.
Results can be summarized as following:
• slightly decreased in final body weight, Weight Gain and FER % when compared with control positive and control negative.
• Significant differences in the final body weight, Weight Gain, FER % and organ weights: stomach weight, heart weight, spleen weight, liver weight and kidney weight when compared with control positive and control negative. group 8 and 5 (M&AG 1000mg/kg and M 1000mg/kg) were scored the highest increase in the weight of the liver and kidney. group 8 and 5(M&AG 1000mg/kg and M 1000mg/kg) recorded the highest increase in spleen weight also, group 2 (AG 1000mg/kg) recorded the highest increase in stomach weight.
• All concentrations showed a slight increase in liver weight, except for groups (3,4,6 and 7) (AG 1500mg/kg, M 800mg/kg, M 1200mg/kg and M&AG 500mg/kg) which showed slight decreases when compared with (Co-) and decrease in liver weight except for group (5 and 8) (M 1000mg/kg and M&AG 1000mg/kg) showed slight increases when compared with (co+).
• group 3 and 9 (AG 1500mg/kg and M&AG 1500mg/kg) recorded the highest increasing in RBC, group 6 and 3(M 1200mg/kg and AG 1500mg/kg) recorded the highest increasing in PH, Hemoglobin and Hematocrit. group 6 and 5(M 1200mg/kg and M 1000mg/kg) scored the highest increasing in lymphocytes, Erythrocyte and volume. groups 6, 5 and 3(M 1200mg/kg, M 1000mg/kg and AG 1500mg/kg) had highest increasing in WBC when compared with control negative is observed that group 6 and 5 (M 1200mg/kg and M 1000mg/kg) had the highest rate of increasing in Erythrocyte, WBC, lymphocytes, and volume. group 6 (M 1200mg/kg) had the highest rate of increase in (PH) when compared with control positive.
• The histopathological examination of the stomach tissues of the rats in the group 1 (GA 500 mg/kg) showed congestion of mucosal blood vessels and submucosal oedema. the histopathological examination of the stomach tissues of the rats in the group 2 (GA 1000 mg/kg) showing submucosal oedema, congestion and few inflammatory cells infiltration. However, the histopathological examination of the stomach tissues of the rats in the group 3 (GA 1500 mg/kg) showed slight submucosal oedema.
• Moreover, the histopathological examination of the stomach tissues of the rats in the group 4 (M 800 mg/kg) showing congestion of submucosal blood vessels and submucosal oedema. Moreover, the histopathological examination of the stomach tissues of the rats in the group 5 (M 1000 mg/kg) showing slight submucosal oedema. the histopathological examination of the stomach tissues of the rats in the group 6 (M 1200 mg/kg) showing no histopathological changes.
• On the other hand, the histopathological examination of the stomach tissues of the rats in the group 7 (GA&M 500 mg/kg) showing focal necrosis of the mucosa, mucosal haemorrhage and submucosal inflammatory cells infiltration. sections from group Stomach of rat from group 8 (GA&M 1000 mg/kg) showing focal necrosis of the mucosa associated with inflammatory cells infiltration and submucosal oedema. Also the histopathological examination of the stomach tissues of the rats in the group 9 (GA&M 1500 mg/kg) showing focal necrosis of the mucosa, and submucosal inflammatory cells infiltration.

The studies reached the following conclusions: -
 Pay close attention to the importance of the role played by both gum Arabic and Moringa, both individually and in a mixture, as it showed improvement most of the results and assistance in improving and reducing injury and recovery from gastric ulcers.
 Giving Moringa (1000 and 1200 mg / kg) extracts liquid medicine for the gastric ulcer is necessary to reduce injury recover as well as encouraging patient is to ingest moringa or gum Arabic as extract for improving Hemoglobin, Hematocrit, Erythrocyte, lymphocytes and WBC. Also, attention to the importance of the mixture of gum Arabic and moringa, especially the concentration of 1500 mg / kg of body weight with those which matched to human which increase and improve, RBC and obtaining normal tissue structure of the stomach layers.
 Ingesting gum Arabic extract is important to improve RBC, WBC, hemoglobin and hematocrit with in its different concentrations (1500 mg / kg) with those which matched to human, and improvement in the tissue of the stomach layers where no tissue changes were observed.
 The study also recommends that attention be paid to adding all these concentrations from gum Arabic and Moringa, either separately or mixed with or meals addition to the baked goods, sweets, salads and different foods and as a daily drink to get the highest benefit, preferably addressed in the long time.
