Abstract
Recurrent habitual abortion is defined as 3 consecutive pregnancy losses before 20 weeks of gestation from the last menstrual period. 40-50% of patients suffering RPL will have no identifiable cause for their loss. There are multiple theories in explanation of unexplained recurrent abortion, several therapies proposed for unexplained RPL, including intralipid, aspirin, LMWH, and a combination of the two have been studied as treatment for unexplained habitual abortion.
