Abstract In conclusion, the present investigation clearly indicates that, interestingly the effect of Bacillus mixture probiotic treatment induced a highly significant increase in all the growth performance and feed utilization of whiteleg shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) in culture pond environment. It suggests that, the multiple probiotic bacteria with synergistic effect could promote growth of the shrimp. Moreover, the total length and numbers of intestinal villi were improved, and the shrimp’s environment was more favorable with Bacillus probiotics administration. Thus, Bacillus mixture probiotic might have a promising role in shrimp culture. This kind of approach can be a better option for the development of sustainable aquaculture. The results recommended that, the application of Sanolife PRO-F at 2g/kg diet might have beneficial effect on the growth, immune response, gut health and function and water quality of cultured shrimp and has better economic value than the dose of 3 g/kg diet. |
