Abstract
Nanotechnology is a field of materials science concerned with the study of manipulation of matter on an atomic and molecular scale. Recently microorganisms have been explored as potential bio-factories for metal nanoparticle biosynthesis including silver, gold, titanium and cadmium sulphide nanoparticles The present study aimed to isolate some fresh water bacterial species from Al-Bahr El-Pherony, Menofyia, Egypt and to screen them for antagonistic activity and metal nanoparticles biosynthesis in addition to evaluating the possible applications of the produced metal nanoparticles.
