Abstract

Smartphones are developed as a modern mobile technological device to simplify the connections between the
associations and customers, the service corporations choose
mobile technology as a mean to give and receive information
and to deliver services for consumers (Zhang et al., 2017).
Mobile technology and applications offer accessibility
of information in the luxury way reaching people’s homes
and offices easily, by using their phones or private digital devices, mobile technology makes the process of transferring information easier and quicker than before and data reaching
users at any time and any place (Akeroyd, 2010).
Technological advancement and tourism have been going hand in hand for years, in this energetic atmosphere,
specialty arenas began to identify a new technology coming from Japan, this technology blowout during 2012 with the speed of the wind and known as Quick Response code ”QR”
code (MacKa & Vogt, 2012).
The reason for its spread owing to smartphones, Quick Response ”QR” code is one of the latest technology deployed and used globally, QR codes are using in many countries
worldwide in several industries such as the manufacturing and cars sector, education sector, retail sector, health sector, fashion, and clothes, in addition to service industries
including restaurants and food sector, transportation sector, entertainment services, financial and banking, and finally in the tourism industry (Emek, 2012; Pillai et al., 2017).
