Abstract
Leukemia is one of leading causes of death despite the significant improvement of survival. MicroRNAs that play important roles as diagnostic and prognostic markers in malignancy. There is a controversy about expression pattern of microRNA 370 in AML. This prospective case control study was conducted to evaluate the diagnostic role of MicroRNA in AML patientThis study was conducted on 80 informed and consented individuals according to the guide lines of the ethical committee of the faculty of medicine Assiut University Hospital, Participants were recruited from Clinical Hematology Department at Assiut University Hospital during the duration of 24 months. We divided patients in to two groups; group Ӏ: (control): Twenty apparently healthy individuals were included as control group for comparison. group II (case): Sixty patients diagnosed with AML as cases Were classified according to FAB classification and according to cytochemistry and immunophenotyping as the following sub groups: 2 patients diagnosed as AML M04 patients diagnosed as AML M14 patients diagnosed as AML M27 patients diagnosed as AML M326 patients diagnosed as AML M415 patients diagnosed as AML M52 patients diagnosed as AML M6.
